Tasting Notes

COLOUR Very pale straw NOSE Adelaide Hills varietal markers abound, with notes of white peach, nectarine, guava and feijoa evident. From the pâtisserie are enticing aromas of poached pear, baked brioche and crème anglaise. A hint of Japanese mirin adds an exotic allure, while toasty/smoky oak nuances allude to barrel ferment complexity. PALATE The complex aromatics seamlessly meld into the flavour profile, abetted by a suggestion of nougat, roasted cashews, white pepper and subtle rice paper tannins. A finely structured wine with soft acidity and grippy phenolics providing great balance, texture and length to the palate.
