Produced by Brokenwood Wines in Australia, Brokenwood Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot is a premium red wine blend of predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with a supportive portion of Merlot from McLaren Vale and Margaret River. Matured in 100% French oak barriques for around 18 months, this wine showcases varietal intensity, refined structure and harmonious integration of fruit and oak.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Deep medium–deep ruby colour with lifted cassis, blackcurrant and cedar aromatics from Cabernet coupled with sweet fruit and gentle French oak spice.
Palate: Rich and smooth with blackberry, plum and dark pastille flavours framed by subtle spice and oak complexity.
Texture: Medium-to-full-bodied with fine tannins and a refined, lengthy mouthfeel.
Structure: Balanced and elegant with fruit depth, integrated oak and a long, savoury finish.
