Bowmore, which is situated in the same-named capital of Islay, uses smoked peat, pure water, committed artisans, and traditional manufacturing methods to make sure that its whisky retains its flavor from its original distillation in 1779. The unique smokiness of Bowmore is combined with a nose of lifted lemon and honey in the 12 Year Old Single Malt. The whisky tastes warm and sweet, with hints of peat smoke and dark chocolate.
